This is an optional step. It's intended for those clients who want to use a ColorSync workflow. An complete explaination of using a ColorSync workflow is a complicated subject and is beyond the scope of this web site.
What is a ColorSync Profile?
A ColorSync profile is a file that contain color specific information about a particular device. Our ColorSync profiles have been custom created by our color experts for use in ColorSync workflows. When used properly, they can simulate on a calibrated monitor and/or printer what the color should look like when printing on our house coated or house uncoated paper to our 4-color Heidelberg offset printing press.
Please note, due to inherent differences in monitors, desktop printers, and printing presses, color accuracy can be excellent, but never perfect. You are 100% responsible for how you use this profile. We cannot guarantee you are using this profile correctly, that your monitor or desktop printer is actually calibrated and/or you have correct viewing conditions.
